11月12日に横浜市立白幡小学校で創立記念式典が開催されました。 創立記念式典は白幡小学校が創立から80年目を迎えるにあたり行われた行事で、保護者の方々や地域の方々に向けて、全学年の児童がが普段学んでいる内容を発表しました。劇やポスターをはじめとして聞き手に伝えるための工夫が至る所に見られ、ハイレベルの発表に見ている人全員がのめり込んでいました。
５年生は防災をテーマに発表しました。自分たちが学んだり、発見したりした知識や技術を伝えるとともに、地域の防災情報の共有まで行いました。私たちが教えていない情報も自ら調べ、発表する姿には大木研究会のメンバーはもちろんのこと、聴衆全員が圧倒されました。子どもたちの積極的な姿勢を生かして、より高いレベルの防災教育を実現するべく、チーム白幡小も奮闘していきます。
